The risk is what can be occurred due to a course of action if the threat and vulnerability are not addressed or identified. All organizations will have some sort of risk and will have to address them for the security and operation of that company. Often it is mixed up what exactly a risk, threat, and vulnerability are. In order to have a risk, you must have an asset and that asset is vulnerable.
